Reservations are required.

Security Deposit:

Security deposits are required for all rentals.  All deposits must be made with a credit card.  Your card is authorized, not charged, on the day of the rental to ensure funds are available. Your bank can hold these funds for 3-5 business days depending on your bank.  We do not accept checks or cash for deposits.

We do not provide rental insurance.  If you want insurance coverage please contact your insurance provider.

Prepaid Cleaning Option:
The renter may choose the Prepaid Cleaning Option prior to departure.

Option 1) This service includes the dumping and sanitizing of the black and gray holding tanks, interior and exterior cleaning of the RV.

$95.00 (21ft - 33ft units)

Option 2) Pre-Paid Waste Evacuation for $35.00. You clean the RV inside & out and we dump the tanks

Option 3) Renter Returns the Vehicle Clean. You clean the vehicle inside and out and dump the waste tanks (vehicle returns in the same condition it was in at pick-up) Cost $0

Reservation Deposit:

Rental paid for in full by credit card or cash.


Pick up / Return Times:
Pick up times are between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM on the departure date, by appointment.
The RV's are due back by 11:00 AM on the return date. A fee of $25.00 per hour applies to all late returns .


Pets:
Yes, we allow pets in most vehicles, as long as the pet is included in the booking. There is a one off Pet-fee.

Smoking:
Sorry, but we do NOT allow smoking in any of our units.


Rental Insurance:
Insurance must be provided by the renter through their own auto insurance carrier
OR purchased directly through our insurance provider.

Security Deposit:

$300 cardit card only.

General Rental and Reservation Policies


1. RESERVATION DEPOSIT AND SECURITY DEPOSIT:
Reservations require immediate payment.
A minimum security deposit of $ 300 is due on the day of delivery. Payment for the security deposit must be made with an accepted credit card in the renters name. The security deposit is an authorization on your credit card account, and charges will only be assessed from the security deposit if there are any other charges such as but not limited to additional use time, cleaning, or other damages


2. RENTAL PAYMENT:
All rental charges must be paid in advance of the day you come to pick up your RV . We accept cash, AM EX,Discover, VISA and MasterCard. Personal checks, company checks and cashiers checks are not accepted unless presented well in advance giving time to clear the bank prior to pick-up.
checks must be drawn on a North American bank payable to Adventure Rentals. Bank service charges are the responsibility of the paying party.
Without payment in "full" the RV will not be released to the customer.
If payments are not received when due, Adventure Rentals reserves the right to cancel the reservation without notice.
Payments in U.S. currency
Local Taxes are due and payable in addition to the rental and/or purchase price.
Taxes change during the year without prior notice.


3. CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations must to be made in writing or Email. The day of receipt of the cancellation is the date the cancellation fee is calculated as follows:
Cancellation more than 30 days prior to rental date: Full refund
Cancellation 15 days prior to rental date 25% of rental price will not be refunded. Cancellation 7 days prior to rental date:50% of rental price will not be refunded Cancellation 48 hours prior to rental date:100% of rental price will not be refunded
There is no fee to reschedule your vacation barring availability of same class RV for those dates.


4. IDENTIFICATION: A valid driver's license with photo must be presented when picking up a Trailer. All information will be verified. The person named on the reservation application must be at least 25 years of age and is the only person authorized to sign the rental agreement and drive the vehicle off our property.

5. ADDITIONAL DRIVERS: All additional drivers must be at least 25 years of age.

6. RENTAL PERIOD: Each overnight period counts as one day. Unless other arrangements are made, pick-up or
departure time is between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. and the vehicle must be returned between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.
on the return date. Unless previous arrangements have been made, you will be charged $25 for every hour the vehicle is returned late.
Late charges begin at 11:01 a.m. on the return date. Other people may be waiting for the vehicle. Please contact our office if you are delayed.
We can make arrangements for late returns subject to availability

7. MILEAGE: There is no mileage for trailers

8. FUEL: Gasoline tanks are released full and must be returned full. If not, there will be a refueling charge of $25 plus the cost of the fuel.

9. CLEANING: In order to make your vacation more hassle-free, we offer a pre-paid cleaning and dumping packages. If you do not purchased the pre-paid cleaning and dumping package, and the vehicle is returned substantially less clean than when rented, or if the cleaning package is purchased and an unusual amount of cleaning is needed a reasonable fee to clean the Vehicle will be charged (not to exceed $350).

10. DUMPING: Unless you have purchased a pre-paid cleaning and dumping package, a dumping fee of $75each will be charged if the Vehicle's waste or holding tanks have not been drained by you prior to return of the Vehicle.

11. GENERATOR: Travel trailers without an onboard generator for $30 per day.


12. PROPANE: . All vehicles are delivered with full tanks and the customer is expected to return the RV with full tanks or will be charged for the refueling plus a service fee per tank.

13. Insurance and Liability for Damage

Damage NOT covered by Insurance
Negligent Damage. Customer assumes unlimited responsibility for Negligent Damage. "Negligent Damage" refers to accidents caused as a result of Driver's negligence and includes but is not limited to:
Accidents occurring off public roads.
Accidents occurring while backing up or parking.
Damage above windshield caused by striking overhead objects, undercarriage damage (including tires and wheels).
All damages to slide-out and awnings.
Damage caused by freezing of the vehicle's systems (it is not permitted to fill water- and/or waste tanks when temperatures are below freezing - please see Winterization).
Deliberate or willful damage caused by renter or guests.
Interior damages caused by renter or guests.
Failure to maintain all fluid levels.
Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other controlled substances.
Traveling in restricted areas.
Failure to use specified fuel.
Operation by anyone under 25 years of age unless approved by Adventure Rentals.
Damages and accidents caused during breach of rental contract or use of rented vehicle for illegal activities.
Notes: No coverage is provided for travelers and their belongings in the rented RV under either policy.

Liability Insurance Included in the Daily Rental Rate
Public Liability Insurance to cover accidents in the event that the Renter is at fault. The policy protects the Renter/Driver to Statutory Limits (State mandated minimum liability coverage). Liability coverage is applicable in the state where the accident occurred and current limits can be found at the following website www.mbainsurance.net/liability_limits.php

Supplemental Liability Insurance (Optional)
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) may be purchased for an additional fee. SLI provides the customer and any authorized driver on the rental contract with an increased limit of liability protection for up to US $1,000,000 toward 3rd party damage claims.


14. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: Complete operating instructions will be given at the time of departure. This will take approximately 1 hour. We provide you with a copy of the Adventure Rentals Operating Manual to assist you with driving the trailer and instructions on how all the systems operate.

15. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE: For motor home rentals.

16. TOWING: Towing is allowed with selected units for an additional charge

17. PETS: Yes, pets are allowed for a one time non-refundable pet fee of $25. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as you received it, free of pet hair and pet odor. If cleaning is required to remote pet hair and pet odor, you will be charged accordingly.

18. SMOKING: Smoking is strictly forbidden in all vehicles. If the vehicle is returned with a smoke odor a cleaning fee will be charged. Costs for cleaning and deodorizing will vary but could be up to $500.

19. ROOF ACCESS: Roof access is strictly forbidden. The roofing material is fragile, and can be damaged easily.

20.Supplemental Liability Insurance (Optional)
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) may be purchased for an additional fee.
SLI protects against third party claims for bodily injury and property damage up to $1,000,000 caused during permitted use of the vehicle, and it is available through MBA Insurance at a cost of $9.95 per day. We recommend that you purchase this additional coverage.

21. RESTRICTED AREAS: Vehicles are restricted from operating in Death Valley and other desert areas during hot periods (May 1st to October 31st). The renter will be held liable for all damages to the vehicle, tires, towing charges, and all other related expenses as a result of a breakdown associated with operating in these areas. Vehicles are restricted to paved roads and highways. If the renter takes the vehicle "off road" and there is a breakdown of any kind, the renter is responsible for the extra towing and other fees. Do not take the vehicle to Mexico. The vehicle is not insured for travel in Mexico and traveler's assistance is not available there.
Alaska:
Traveling within Alaska, Yukon and/or NWT is permitted. Weekend Hauler Rentals must be advised at the time of reservation.
Winterization:
It is not possible to use the water-/waste systems during this time or when outside temperatures are below freezing!
Other:
Inner Cities of New York City, NY as well as Montreal and Quebec City in Canada are not permitted. No insurance coverage for vehicle theft in Montreal and Quebec City!

22. ILLEGAL AND IMPROPER USE: You agree that the vehicle will not be used in violation of any law and further agrees to hold Adventure Rentals harmless from all fines and penalties levied for violation of any traffic laws. In the event the vehicle is seized or impounded, you shall continue to be responsible for rental charges until the vehicle is returned, pursuant to the terms of this agreement. You agree to indemnity and hold Adventure Rentals harmless from any and all losses and expenses resulting from seizure or impounding. You also agree that the following are breaches of the rental agreement and you are then responsible for any loss due to your breach:

a. Intentional, willful, wanton or reckless conduct.
b. Operation of the vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
c. Operation of the vehicle on an unpaved road if the damage or loss is a direct result of the road or driving conditions.
d. Used for commercial hire.
e. Used in connection with conduct that could properly be charged as a felony.
f. Involved in a speed test or contest.
g. Operated by a person other than an authorized driver.
h. Operated outside the lower 48 states or Canada.
i. If you provide false information to us and we would not have rented the vehicle to you if instead we had received true information.

23. MECHANICAL FAILURES: For trailer rentals, you are responsible for checking the tire pressure. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in vehicle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance. as well as reporting mechanical failures immediately. Renter is responsible for ensuring that the Trailer is not loaded beyond its gross vehicle weight rating (which can lead to tire failure or other problems). In the event of a mechanical failure, the renter is required to first contact Adventure Rentals, Adventure Rentals at its sole discretion, agrees to repair, to have repaired, or make every reasonable effort to replace the Trailer. You acknowledge the possibility of mechanical failure and/or breakdown and further acknowledge that said mechanical failure and/or breakdown is an inherent risk associated with the operation of said Trailer, that it is beyond the control of Adventure Rentals and does not a result in an act of negligence and/or omission on the part of the Adventure Rentals. You agree that in all cases of mechanical malfunction of the Trailer, you will immediately notify us by telephone and will follow instructions regarding any and all repair work. We will only be responsible for any repairs up to $100 per rental if said repair charges have not been authorized by the company. You must provide a receipt for any such repairs to be reimbursed. Adventure Rentals is not liable for your expenses due to unforeseen breakdowns beyond our control. You may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in Trailer operation or failure to provide normal maintenance. In the event the RV is in breakdown repair for 12 hours or more through no fault of yours, our responsibility to is;
If Renter's Trailer vacation is interrupted by an automotive mechanical breakdown for more than 12 working hours after reporting such to Adventure Rentals, the Renter will be reimbursed for the greater of: (i) the gross daily rate or: (ii) expenses for hotel rooms up to US $ 25.00 per person per night and car rental up to US $50.00 per day per Trailer to a maximum of US $1,000.00 per tour. Receipts for all incurred expenses must be presented for refund It is also agreed that radio, automatic step, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, TV, DVD, VCR, appliances, cruise control and generator malfunctions are not considered breakdowns.

24. ACCIDENT and Violations: If involved in an accident, you must notify Adventure Rentals within 24 hours. For accidents involving more than $500 in damage, The customer must obtain a local police report as provided by the attending police officer investigating the accident. An accident report form is supplied to the customer and is located in the RV along with the registration and insurance papers.
Adventure Rentals must be notified as soon as possible. A full-written report along with the other party's name, address, phone number, insurance information and driver's license number on the supplied accident report form will be required upon return of the RV. Damage and accident scene pictures should be taken and provided if at all possible.
All documents relating to the accident must include a police report number or identifying number.
Insurance coverage may be void if the above instructions are not followed
.
Parking/Traffic Violations/Toll Violations:
Customers are responsible for reporting and payment of all parking/traffic violations at rental termination. Non-reporting of parking/traffic violations breaches the Rental Contract and may result in an administrative charge of up to $250 in addition to fines to the clients creditcard.
a full written police accident report must be submitted to Adventure Rentals upon your return. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of your security deposit.

25. DAMAGES: Renter accepts responsibility for $1500 deductible per occurrence for physical damage to the vehicle.

26. RENTER'S PROPERTY: We shall at no time be responsible for the loss, destruction or damage of any personal property of yours or any of your passengers carried on the vehicle and you agree to indemnity and make us harmless from any claim with respect to such property.

27. REPLACEMENT VEHICLE: We reserve the right to replace the vehicle with another vehicle of similar size or larger if the reserved vehicle is not available. If no other vehicle is available, all fees will be refunded. We cannot be held liable for any other costs incurred by you.

28. TERMS AND RATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. Any additional terms will be disclosed when the rental agreement is signed. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant.
